Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS)

ALL SCHOOLS WILL CLOSE MONDAY MARCH 16 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. All updates can be found on the website at www.pghschools.org/coronavirus. Baldwin-Whitehall School District

We have closed all District facilities and canceled all school-related events, effective with the end of the workday, Friday March 13, and continuing until further notice. This includes all academic, athletic, arts, extracurricular, facility rentals and administrative events and gatherings.

Moon Area School District

For the protection of our students and staff, we have decided to respond to the ongoing health concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 by closing Moon Area School District buildings beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and reevaluate in late March whether or not we need to extend the school closure. We will notify you later today on methods of instruction moving forward during the closure. All extra-curricular activities events have been postponed until further notice.

Carlynton School District

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Carlynton School District is closing all schools – cancelling all classes and all activities. The District is closed until further notice. Over the course of the next two weeks, we will re-evaluate and communicate additional information as it becomes available. Meals will be available for pickup. Chartiers Valley School District

Chartiers Valley School District will be closed March 16 until further notice.  All activities, including but not limited to athletic events and Kindergarten Registration, have been canceled until further notice.

Mt. Lebanon School District

Effective immediately, there will be no school for the two-week period officially prescribed by the Governor beginning Monday, March 16.  As of this notice, students should prepare to return to school on March 30, 2020.
