U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the reduction of the maximum validity period for initial and renewal Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) for several categories of noncitizens. To learn more, click here.

JFCS runs peer-led support groups for refugee and immigrant communities throughout Allegheny County. The program is funded by Allegheny County Department of Human Services and is meant to help refugee and immigrant communities connect with each other and learn about their new home in Pittsburgh. Groups have been held in the Bhutanese, Iraqi, Congolese, Korean, Latina, and Turkish communities.
