About this Recipe
By: George Manos (via Literacy Pittsburgh)
This hot mulled cider drink is a historical tradition of Wassailing, a Medieval Christmas drinking ritual intended to ensure a good apple harvest for the next year!
George is on the Board of Directors at Literacy Pittsburgh. He founded and chairs GPLC’s spring Trivia Bowl
competition, which in just two years has raised over $75,000 for GPLC’s student programs! Thank you to George and Literacy Pittsburgh’s cooking program for this recipe!
