This quick and easy Chicken Teriyaki recipe is eaten across Japan and features chicken cooked with flavorful sauce!

- 1 pound chicken breast (or thigh), cut into thin strips
- 1/2 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce (or 2 tablespoons soy sauce + 1 tablespoon sugar + 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
According to food historians, teriyaki was first made in Japan in the 17th century!
